LEAD works to build capacity of under-served ethnolinguistic communities, link them with resources and advocate alongside them, so that they can achieve their goals and retain their ethnolinguistic identities.

Capacity Building
LEAD builds capacity within ethnolinguistic communities and supporting institutions such as governments or non-governmental organizations by providing training in technical areas related to language and education. We help create linkages between communities and development partners to deliver training in other aspects of development.
Advocacy
LEAD engages with governments, international organizations, companies and non-profit organizations to develop policies that create a supportive environment as local communities seek to participate fully in a broader society without giving up their unique ethnolinguistic heritage. LEAD focuses on equipping communities to advocate for themselves with local and national officials.
Resource Linking
LEAD mobilizes human and financial resources, linking them to local communities and institutions working to support them in achieving their development goals. LEAD helps communities leverage their own resources with external funding in a sustainable manner.
