Three months have come and gone faster than I would have believed in September. I've seen so many things in my time volunteering with LEAD Asia and each one has changed me in a small way.

I now know the smell of a basmati rice field just before harvest. I believe that giant eels exist. And I know that the band Aqua has somehow spread their music to places I would never expect!

But more importantly, I am encouraged by how much people will give of themselves to make sure the children in their village have a quality education from teachers who speak their language. And I recognize the happiness brought by something as simple as clean water.
